Miles A Kennedy \ Chairman

Miles Kennedy was chairman of Sandfire Resources NL when the DeGrussa discovery was made in April 2009. He is also chairman of MOD Resources Ltd (MOD) and Marine Produce Australia Limited and CEO of Lonrho Mining Limited. He was the founding chairman of New Zealand gold miner Macraes Mining Co and developed the Macraes gold mine which has produced more than 3 million ounces of gold. He was also chairman of Kimberley Diamond Co which developed the Ellendale diamond project before being taken over by Gem Diamonds for $320 million in 2007.

Albert Thamm \ Executive Technical Director

Albert Thamm has 23 years’ experience in exploration and mining project development in Australia, Africa and South America. His background covers base metals, gold, iron ore, nickel, diamonds, uranium, coal and industrial minerals. Previously with Coffey Mining as an Associate Consultant Geology, where he focused primarily on exploration project development, preparation of IPO technical reports, technical audits, due diligence, technical valuations and resource estimations. He holds Bachelors, Honours and Masters Degrees in Geology from the University of Cape Town and is a graduate of the University of South Africa School of Business Leadership. He is a Fellow and Chartered Professional of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists (USA).

John R Hutton \ Non-Executive Director

John Hutton is the son of the late explorer, Graeme Hutton, who recognised the prospectivity of the Doolgunna region by pegging both the ground which hosts the DeGrussa discovery and RNI’s Doolgunna tenement. John was also on the board of Sandfire when the DeGrussa discovery was made. He is a director of Marine Produce Australia Limited.

Thomas J Mann \ Non-Executive Director

Tom Mann has 30 years’ experience in financial markets and global trade. He was instrumental in securing the South Korean giant POSCO as Sandfire’s major shareholder in 2008.
